Privacy Policy

LongToss is built by Cutter Nation Baseball. We believe athletes should own
their training data. This policy explains what LongToss collects, what
LongToss does not collect, and how you stay in control.
The short version:
- Your throws, sessions, videos, and stats stay on your device.
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
- We keep the minimum needed to give you the app you paid for.
- You can delete everything at any time.
1. Who we are
LongToss is operated by Cutter Nation Baseball ("we", "us"). Contact:

2. What LongToss collects
On your device only
The following stay on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. They are never uploaded to our servers:
- GPS coordinates — used to measure the distance of each throw. Recorded during a session, held on device.
- Motion sensor data — used to detect when you release the ball. Held on device.
- Session details — throw counts, distances, arm-feel ratings, notes you type, session timestamps.
- Solo Mode videos and audio — recorded on device, saved to your Photos library if you choose to save them.
- Health data — if you opt in, sessions log to Apple Health as workouts. Apple Health data never leaves your device.
Sent to our servers (only if needed)
- Email address — required to associate your subscription with your account across devices.
- Name (first and last) — for a friendlier in-app experience and personalized support responses.
- Subscription tier and status — synced from Stripe so your paid features unlock on any device you log in on.
- Anonymous crash reports — delivered by Apple's built-in system when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs.
3. What LongToss never collects
- Your throw-by-throw GPS trail (only the calculated distance is used; raw coordinates stay local)
- Your contacts, calendar, browsing history, or purchase history from other apps
- Your Solo Mode videos or audio recordings (they are yours and yours only)
- Your Apple Health data (workouts we write to Health are stored by Apple, not by us)
- Advertising identifiers or ad-tracking data
4. Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
LongToss never sees or stores your credit card number. Stripe holds the
minimum data needed to process the transaction and complies with PCI DSS.
You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from
your Stripe portal.
5. Third-party services
Apple HealthRead/write workouts you save. Data stays on Apple's servers.
Apple Sign in with AppleOptional. Apple sends us your name and a private relay email if you use it.
StripeHandles subscription payments. Card details never touch our servers.
NetlifyHosts our website. Sees standard web traffic logs (anonymous IP, page views).
Apple TestFlight and App StoreDelivers app updates. Apple handles distribution analytics per their own policies.
6. Children's privacy
LongToss is designed for baseball and softball players ages 13 and up.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided us with
personal information, contact us at jsintes34@gmail.com
and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
You can, at any time and without asking us:
- Delete every session and video stored on your device (Profile → Reset)
- Revoke health, camera, mic, motion, or location permissions in iOS Settings
- Cancel your subscription at the Stripe portal — no email required
- Request full deletion of your account and email from our servers by emailing jsintes34@gmail.com
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA:
the right to know what we collect, the right to delete, and the right to
not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell
personal information under any definition.
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights described in the GDPR:
access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
Our legal basis for processing your email and subscription status is
contractual necessity — we need it to give you the app you paid for.
8. Data retention
Session data, videos, and stats stay on your device until you delete them.
Your email, name, and subscription status stay in our records for as long as
you have an active or lapsed subscription. If you request deletion, we
permanently remove your email and subscription record within 30 days.
9. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS with modern TLS.
Payments run through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Session data
stored on your device is protected by iOS's built-in data protection.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the
top and notify active users by email or in-app message. Non-material fixes
(typos, clarifications) will just get the date bump.
